We are a key partner to some of the largest and highest growth organizations in the world.The job opening is for a full-time R&D engineer to conduct research and advanced development for Heat Assisted Magnetic Recording (HAMR) in the heads area. Responsibilities can include: Optical characterization for HAMR heads (waveguides, lasers, near-field transducers, thin film test samples), innovative development of new optical tests and lab set-ups, optical design of test structures, and detailed data analysis. Responsibilities also include close collaboration with the wafer process teams and back-end teams to drive innovation in design, process, and materials.Minimum

of Ph.D degree in Physics, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, Optics or closely related field.
