Description:Structural Integrity Associates, Inc. (SIA) is looking for an Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant in our San Jose, CA office. You will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the company’s finances. You will have overall responsibility for directing and processing of accounts payable, including vendor and expense report processing.

Primary Responsibilities:Processing of vendor and sub-contractor invoicesProvide support in processing and auditing of employee expense reports when requiredProcessing weekly check-run while meeting the deadlineInitiation of ACH and wire transfers to vendors utilizing the company’s online banking softwareEnsure that all invoices/payments have appropriate approvals as required by company policyFacilitate resolution of vendor payment issues requiring company involvementFulfill W9 vendor requestsEnsure that all required 1099’s and 1096’s are issued annuallyRecord accruals related to the fiscal month-end and year-end period close as necessaryEnsure that internal accounting processes are followed and updated as neededParticipate in month-end and year-end reporting and processingProvide support in Maintaining Corporate Credit Card account and keep payment status current when requiredOther duties as assigned to meet business needs

Required Skills/Qualifications:3+ years of experience in Accounting or FinanceProfessional services industry (A&E) experience preferredAA degree in Accounting or related field, a plusStrong MS Office skills including ExcelExperience with Concur Solutions desiredExperience with Oracle NetSuite desiredStrong service orientation, adaptable to change, and detail orientedOpen to cross train within the departmentGood written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environment, take initiative, set priorities, and see projects through to completion

Salary Range:The expected salary range for this role in California is $55,000 – $68,000 annually. The exact pay will be commensurate with experience.
