board-certified Internal Medicine Residency Program Director
to lead our esteemed Categorical Internal Medicine residency program.
Our facility, a 168-bed hospital, serves a growing population of over 300,000 and is recognized for its commitment to excellence in medical education and patient care.
As the Program Director, you will play a crucial role in guiding the development and execution of our Internal Medicine residency program. This role balances administrative and clinical teaching responsibilities, offering a 50/50 split between each.
Position Details
Lead and oversee the Categorical Internal Medicine residency program.
Engage in a blend of administrative duties and clinical teaching.
Bring a minimum of three years of educational or administrative experience in an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine Program.
Participate in faculty recruitment, retention, and professional development.
Develop and implement curriculum, policies, and procedures for the residency program.
Ensure compliance with ACGME requirements and standards.
Foster a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications
Board-eligible or board-certified in Internal Medicine in the United States.
Proven track record of leadership in medical education.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
