First Methodist Church of Stuttgart seeks a passionate and visionary Children's Discipleship Director to lead and invigorate their children’s ministry. This director will be responsible for revitalizing the children's programs, addressing the current challenges of volunteer burnout, and ensuring the continuity of quality ministry. They will collaborate closely with church leadership to align the children's ministry with the broader goals of the church, which is deeply committed to supporting families and nurturing the spiritual growth of the next generation.

The Children's Discipleship Director is both crucial and promising. This role requires a visionary who can passionately promote the significance of serving in children’s ministry and create an engaging and fun environment that encourages kids to learn and return.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide vision and leadership for the Children’s Discipleship area.
Direct the Children’s Discipleship Committee in planning and carrying out their ministry to help more children become devoted followers of Christ.
Contribute to the big picture and the bottom line of the church’s goals and growth.
Increase the number of families with children who participate in the ministries of FMC.
Increase the number of children who participate in the life of the church.
Provide opportunities for children and parents to participate in local missions.
Recruit and equip people to present the children’s message during the regular worship service on Sunday morning.
