You will work directly with customers, business development managers, project developers, and others to develop and deliver solutions that align with the end users’ goals. You will evaluate customers technical needs/objectives and deliver a solution that meets project specifications, scope of work, schedule, and budget.Your typical day will be:General ActivitiesExecute engineering workProvide technical consultation to customers building a trusted advisor relationshipDevelop and maintain a high technical and commercial competency for relevant offersDevelop proposalsDraft and deliver technical reportsTrain and mentor othersLead troubleshooting activitiesActively work with your manager on education, experience, and exposure plans for your developmentPCA ActivitiesDevelop and maintain cross functional expertise with all elements of Schneider PCA offersRead, interpret, and modify electrical drawingsCreate and modify PLC and HMI programs for Automatic Throwover (ATO) ApplicationsDevelop/modify Sequence of Operations proceduresDevelop and implement solutions to solve power system issuesActively participate in the PCA Community of PracticeBasic QualificationsBSEE or MSEE5 years’ experience as an electrical engineerExperience with power systems or controls engineering including PLC’s and HMI’sProficient in Microsoft Office applicationsDesire to grow/develop and a passion for customersTechnical Preferred Qualifications/ExperienceSwitchgear power automation for gear

ATO programming in PLC’s or Protective RelaysProtective Relay programming and commissioningExposure to electrical maintenance and testingAbility to read and interpret power system studiesElectrical distribution design

Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
