Job SummaryThe Human ResourcesCoordinator aids with and facilitates the human resource processes at all business locations. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including screening all calls and visits to HR office, file maintenance and HRIS entry.The budgeted pay range for this position is $26.00 per hour. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience.Job Posting DeadlineApplications for this position will be accepted until September 15, 2024.Essential Job FunctionsHandles the onboarding and orientation of new hiresHelps coordinate and assist with training sessionsPerforms customer service functions by answering employee requests and questionsCompletes HRIS entry for current employees, new hires and terminated employeesTrains managers and employees on HRIS systemsCompletes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 filesSubmits online investigation requests, completes employment verifications and assists with new-employee background checksHelps maintain the employee portalAssists with benefits and wellness fairsProcesses workers compensation claimsSchedules meetings and interviewsMakes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functionsFiles documents into appropriate employee filesAssists or prepares correspondence shipping needsPrepares new-employee filesProcesses mailKeeps the common areas clean and organizedPerforms other related duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor's degree and/or equivalent experienceAt least two years of related experience required.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsAbility to manage difficult interactionsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailWorking understanding of human resource principles, practices and proceduresExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesAbility to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environmentProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareAdditional InformationSupervision Given and Received

Supervision Given: This position has no supervisory responsibilities Supervision Received: Works under direct supervision of Director of Human Resources.Tasks are assigned according to specific procedures, and work is checked frequently.
