Job Description
Our client, a dynamic and growing public accounting firm, is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant (CPA) to join their team. This remote-first role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of complex business tax returns while collaborating with a supportive team of professionals.
Although the position is 95% remote, occasional travel (1-2 times a year) to their office in Grand Rapids, MI, will be required.
*Must live in Michigan

Key Responsibilities:Prepare and review complex business tax returns (1120, 1065) for private clients.Provide expert tax planning and advisory services, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.Oversee and review junior staff's work to ensure accuracy and efficiency.Manage start-to-finish tax preparation for both individuals and businesses.Collaborate with leadership and team members on projects to meet client deadlines.Qualifications:
CPA designation (required).3+ years of experience in tax preparation and review, with a focus on business tax returns.Proficiency in UltraTax CS (Thompson Reuters platform) is required..
