Job Description:

Leads and directs experienced professionals, communicates within and outside of organization to explain and influence changes to policies, practices, or approaches.

Essential Functions:Lead and mentor a team of direct reports, offering strategic guidance and support in crafting and executing their career development plans.Collaborate closely with the leadership team to drive strategic decision-making, ensuring successful program execution and the development of new business strategies.Ability to contribute from a pricing perspective to the development and execution of a cost proposal plan.Compile cost elements in the development of proposals in accordance with Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements.Develop an understanding and ability to implement and mentor internal cost proposal processes and procedures as well as external Government contracting regulations (FAR, CAS and TINA) to co-workers and internal customers.Conduct proposal analysis and provide recommendations leading to a current complete and accurate cost volume.Work with other functional areas in presenting cost proposal data for approval to functional as well as executive level management.Interface and support both internal and external customers in support of post-proposal submission audit, fact-finding, and negotiations.Acquire and execute expert level knowledge of internal estimate gathering and pricing tools. Use that knowledge in an administrative role to support system users.Utilize advanced Microsoft Office skill to produce meaningful cost models and accurate, timely reportsAn ability to articulate oral and written to individual contributors, management up to and including corporate executives, and customersQualifications:

Bachelor's degree (Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred) and 10 years' experience in the financial arena of government contracting.Demonstrated strong skills with Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel.Solid understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) is preferred.The ability to obtain and hold a Secret level security clearance is preferred.Experience with International contracting preferred.Preferred Additional Skills:

Experience in working with Government accounting & proposalsExperience with Microsoft Office including extensive experience in ExcelExperience with ProPricer & SAPGood analytical, problem solving, and organizational skillsStrong oral and written communication skillsProven experience presenting to large groups and leadershipCapability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
