We are seeking an experienced
IT Specialist
who will play a pivotal role in managing the Element Help Desk and providing customer assistance. This is an incredible opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting a growing company with a strong work culture. We are looking for candidates with a solid background in supporting customers in bringing IT solutions in a corporate environment Experience with Windows desktop environment and MAC and IOS computers and phones is a must. This role will report to the Associate Director - IT Service Management and will be a San Diego based role.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Manage Help Desk tickets in a timely mannerRespond to customer issues via phone, email and computer chatProvide customer assistanceDocument customer interactionsRun diagnostics to resolve customer reported issuesEscalate issues to the next Tier with next level of difficultyInstall, make changes and repair computer hardware and softwareFollow-up with customers to ensure issues are resolvedGreat communication skills"Genius Bar" supportEducation and Experience:
3+ years of relative industry experience, (an equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered)Extensive experience working in windows desktop environmentProficiency with a MAC and IOS computers and phonesExcellent oral communication skillsHighly organized to keep Help desk tickets orderAbility to diagnose and resolve basic computer technical issuesWork with software support teamsLife science background or prior Lab experience is greatPhysical Requirements:
Frequently moves boxes weighing up to 15 poundsLocation:

Full-time//ExemptBase Compensation Pay Range:
$75,000 - $91,000
In addition to base compensation noted above, you will be eligible for stock options, discretionary annual bonus, no cost health insurance plans, 401k with company match, and flexible paid time off.
Please note: Base compensation will depend on multiple factors, including geographic location, qualifications, and experience.
