JOB SUMMARY:

The Coordinator of Theatrical Costuming Production will support all rebuilds and rehabs on existing productions. Coordinator will partner with Supervisor, Theatrical Costume Production & Development to help facilitate all new builds on existing or upcoming vessels. Coordinators are the liaison between Creative Costuming and outside vendors on any outside builds or goods.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Oversee the production of new builds and rebuilds for all productions on existing and new ships.Liaison between outside vendors and Creative Costuming.Assist in the creation of bid books and sourcing outside vendors.Work with Supervisor, New Build to schedule production of products inhouse.Source all materials necessary for new builds or replacement of item no longer available.Work directly with the Supervisor on all matters related to new design, construction and outsourcing.Expedites productions within scheduled deadlines.Attends fittings as necessary for troubleshooting and production continuity.Arrange any necessary travel and accommodations for outside vendors while in house.Handles the timely inclusion of fabrics/notions into costume productions.Perform other job-related functions as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS

DEGREE TYPE:

High School Diploma

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 2 years' experience in an office/administrative assistance. Cruise industry theatrical entertainment experience a plus.Minimum of 2 years' experience as a professional costumer.COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:

Knowledge of and general experience in mounting of theatrical productions.Excellent sourcing and organizational skills required.Ability to work professionally with outside Shop and Vendors.Knowledgeable in budgeting and forecasting.Computer Knowledge of Excel, Word, and Power Point.
