Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related fieldAt least 5 years of experience managing EDI systems within a manufacturing environmentExperience with ERP systems (SAP strongly preferred), EDI VANs, AS2, ANSI X12, EDIFACT protocols, SQL, SFT, and EDI mappingDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot EDI processes and manage complex transactions

What Your Role Will Look Like:The EDI is responsible for all topics relating to EDI, including customer and partner set up, administration and ongoing support to ensure that EDI transactions with customers/partners run smoothly. The role coordinates with customers, internal customer service, finance, and contracts teams to ensure that EDIs relating to customer orders, shipments, invoices, payments, etc. are processed properly.

Oversee and troubleshoot EDI transactions, ensuring smooth data flow between the company and partnersManage a small team of EDI support staff, providing leadership and direction on customer-facing and technical tasksCollaborate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure compliance with EDI standards and protocolsMaintain and update technical documentation, including EDI maps, data interchange agreements, and reports for managementImplement EDI mapping changes, analyze impacts, and lead system upgrades or enhancementsConduct audits and quality checks on EDI transactions to ensure compliance with standards, data accuracy, and securityCoordinate with IT and other departments on system integrations, ensuring seamless connections between EDI and other systems
