The Associate Director, Access & Reimbursement (ADAR) is responsible for providing education to defined accounts on access and reimbursement topics in support of aligned product strategies. This role focuses on accounts with complex processes and workflows, including integrated delivery networks and academic medical institutions.About the Role
Interact with large, complex accounts to support patient access within their aligned therapeutic area product(s).Provide face-to-face education on programs to providers and staff.Address customer questions related to NPC policies on product ordering, payment, and inventory.Work with key members of therapeutic area offices to support patient access to products.Analyze problems and offer solutions related to patient reimbursement.Communicate policy changes that could affect other departments.Inform customers about NVS-sponsored patient support programs.Maintain expertise in regional and local access landscape.Collaborate cross-functionally within NPC to share insights on customer needs and barriers.Handle Patient Identifiable Information (PII) appropriately and comply with HIPAA and other regulations.Identify and report adverse events via established systems.Radioligand Therapies SpecificPartner with the Novartis Patient Support (NPS) customer engagement team on supply capacity and site procurement eligibility.Understand RLT key priorities and influence overall account and regional strategies.Assess site readiness for procurement of nuclear medicines and billing.Assist in communication and facilitation of procurement and logistics.Support treatment site onboarding and compliance with necessary documentation.Key Performance IndicatorsCustomer satisfaction related to therapeutic area products and reimbursement support.Education of key customers in therapeutic area offices.Ensure customers are aware of available programs to support access.Adherence to NPC policies, laws, and regulations.EducationBachelor’s Degree required; Business and/or biological science education preferred. Advanced degree preferred.5+ years of experience in pharmaceuticals/biotech industry focused on Patient Services, Market Access, Sales, and/or account management.Experience with complex practices and health systems.Strategic account management experience.Deep expertise in integrating manufacturer-sponsored patient support programs.Knowledge of reimbursement pathways and commercial payers.Must live within assigned territory and possess a valid driver’s license.Preferred Qualifications:Experience leading presentations to C-level executives.Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.Expertise in therapeutic area practice dynamics.Strong communication and presentation skills.Why consider Novartis?Our purpose is to reimagine medicine to improve lives.
