This position is eligible for a $750 retention bonus ($750 paid after 6 months of service with the remainder paid after 12 months of service)

Salary

Base Salary: $52,960.65 - $61,322.85/annually

Base salary + MHPSA differential: $60,904.75 - $70,521.28

The expected compensation range for this position represents a good faith estimate for this position and the specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, experience, and/or FTE.

About Us

Canvas Health's mental health and substance use disorder providers, clinicians, and staff bring their diverse lived experience to help inform and guide the care they provide to clients. Our integrated programs and services offer coordinated care to people of all ages in their homes, the community, and in our clinics. We strive for excellence in clinical care as we serve those living with mental illness, substance use disorders, crisis, unstable housing, and trauma. Canvas Health is a non-profit, Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) specializing in serving clients who are on Medicaid.

Position Summary

This position provides a full spectrum of outpatient treatment services including assessment, group facilitation, individual and family sessions, service coordination and serving as an integral member of our substance use treatment team, in our evening North Branch outpatient treatment program. It incorporates an asset/strength based philosophy and demands a creative use of knowledge in the delivery of cognitive behavioral interventions and the coordination of services. This position is collaborative in nature and requires working closely and being sensitive to relationships with Court Services, Social Services, substance use providers, mental health providers, schools, managed care and various other community resources.

Minimum Qualifications

MN LADC licensure.Completion of 30 hours of training in Adolescent Development.Experience working with Court Services, Social Services and Managed Care networks.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in human services or related field or equivalent experience.Experience working with and/or delivering services to diverse populations.Three years' experience in the field of substance use with a minimum of two years direct experience that includes experience in delivery of cognitive behavioral approaches, motivational interviewing and working with co-occurring disorders.Experience with Electronic Health Record systems.
