Raw Materials/Grading Intern - Summer 2025

Responsible for assisting with inspecting and grading all incoming cheese that is received at Masters Gallery Foods and cheese problem solving at our production facility and outside warehouses. Also responsible for working with management, production, quality, warehouse, including but not limited to the lab department to learn the cross functions of the grading department.

Duties / Responsibilities:Assist with grading all cheese used in Production for industrial and ingredient sales.Assist with troubleshooting cheese performance issues.Enter data for bulk cheese, bulk holds, and bulk compliance issues.Assist with pizza bakes and other required bulk testing.File completed paperwork.Attend vendor/customer joint grading sessions.What You Can Offer

Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology or related field.Good written and verbal communication skills.Previous experience in a food manufacturing or laboratory setting is desired.Good organizational skills and analytical ability.Knowledge or willingness to learn the AOAC-approved methods for cheese testing.Good organizational skills and analytical ability.Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.What Masters Gallery Foods Can Offer You
