About the Job:

LiveIntent is looking for an experienced, energetic, and proven Sales Director

to join our team. The ideal candidate has significant advertising sales and social experience in digital media with a proven track record of winning new business and building relationships. You will be responsible for driving awareness, exposure, and performance strategies through LiveIntent's offerings. You will be an integral part of our growing sales team on theEast Coast This is a NYC-based role.

Responsibilities:Drive revenue by leveraging established relationships focusing on upper mid-market while also proactively identifying opportunities to create new and impactful relationships; with a strong ability to respond to client needs with thoughtful, tailored, and highly effective proposalsDevelop and execute a strategic revenue plan that achieves goals and grows market share through relationships with senior leaders and decision-makers at holding companies, agencies, and brandsDevelop robust pipeline, category, and territory strategiesDeliver marketplace feedback and client challenges to improve sales products and create solutions utilizing LiveIntent's offerings to help drive impact, growth, and meet KPIsCollaborate with teams across the LiveIntent ecosystem to proactively drive the development of new opportunitiesServe as an ambassador for our brands in market, clearly explaining our unique value proposition and platformIdentify, monitor, and accurately forecast sales activityWork cross functionally with supporting teams: Account Managers, Optimizers, and MarketingParticipate in product roadmap build-out discussions based on client needs with product & engineeringUse knowledge of the relevant market and competitors to identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiatorsQualifications:

A minimum of 5 years digital advertising sales experience meeting or exceeding quota with an expertise in social media platformsDeep experience working brand direct and not requiring the use of 3rd party DSP pipes to be successfulHands-on experience with ad technologies, such as: Ad Servers, DSPs, SSPs, CDPs, DMPs, measurement vendors (e.g. fraud, viewability, etc.), and data providersUnderstanding of of how social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snap or other platforms, including their advertising strategies, targeting options and audience engagement a plusConsultative selling skills with the ability to anticipate and overcome concerns by positioning value propositions in relation to client needsExcellent communication skills; both verbal and written with the ability to collaborate with C-level stakeholders both internally and externallyData-driven with excellent organizational skills and the ability to guide multiple projects simultaneouslyFlexible, self-starting attitude; able to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels in the organizationAt LiveIntent, we've introduced a hybrid workplace model to be present with one another, share learnings and collaborate through in-office partnerships. Our office is located at One World Trade Center, with easy transportation access and incredible NYC skyline views. For this role, you'll need to join us in the office 2 days a week (Tuesday & Wednesday), but not every week is needed, you'll also get at least one "Work from Anywhere" week each month to enjoy some flexibility.

The base salary for this position begins at $115,000 with a maximum salary opportunity of $150,000. When determining compensation for roles, we look at the qualifications needed for the position along with the mix of required and preferred skills/experiences, market data, and existing team equity. We rarely hire an individual into a position at the top of the salary band due to the belief that we are hiring people into roles that also challenge them to learn and grow. The band highlights that potential. We put an emphasis on growth and development through our performance and compensation reviews 2x a year in parallel with ongoing conversions with your manager throughout the year.
