Job Description
Project Assessment : Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and drawings to understand the scope of work.Quantity Takeoff : Measure and quantify materials, labor, and equipment needed for the project.Cost Estimation : Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services.Bid Preparation : Compile and submit competitive bids, including pricing, timelines, and any clarifications.Subcontractor Management : Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate bids from subcontractors and suppliers.Value Engineering : Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or project objectives.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. Experience estimating for ground up, commercial construction projectsCapable of producing varying levels of estimates from Schematic Design all the way through GMP.Capable of producing thorough bid package documents to send out to subcontractors for accurate pricing.Experience with procore, bluebeam and basic Microsoft programs.What's on Offer
