Job Description
Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and schedules for luxury fitout projects.Analyze project plans and specifications to identify potential cost risks and opportunities.Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.Review and evaluate subcontractor bids for completeness and accuracy.Monitor ongoing projects to ensure they stay within budget and scope.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, materials, and construction techniques.Prepare and present bid proposals to clients and negotiate contracts.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
Construction Estimator
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or any field related to the building and construction industryMinimum of 5+ years of experience as a construction estimator, preferably in luxury commercial and residential fitouts.Experience working on Commercial and Residential fitouts Projects in Hartford CountyStrong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.Local/Commutable to Farmington, CTWhat's on Offer
