General Description
SS Landscaping is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Landscaping Construction Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for landscaping construction projects. This role requires a thorough understanding of landscaping and irrigation techniques, materials, and industry standards.
Responsibilities
Evaluate bid solicitations and assign projects.Analyze and qualify project scope of work and generating RFI's as needed.Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates.Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure estimates meet project requirements.Source and evaluate materials, labor, and equipment costs.Prepare and present detailed bid proposals and value engineering opportunities.Assist in negotiating contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids and follow up.Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in landscaping construction estimating.Strong knowledge of landscaping materials, techniques, and industry standards.Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite, Planswift and Bluebeam.Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Effective communication and negotiation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Benefits
