Paragon Land Pros has partnered with Reef Capital Partners, who focuses on real estate equity investments and development projects. Reef Private Equity is currently developing a wide variety of projects, including the $1 billion+ world-class Black Desert Resort in Ivins, Utah, 150 SF lots and 300+ townhomes at the new Mayflower Ski Resort near Park City Utah, a 900 lot lake and golf community in Virginia, 300 apartments in Idaho, 48 townhomes in Eden, Utah, etc.

Job Responsibilities:Paragon Land Pros and Reef Capital Partners is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our landscaping team. The Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for landscaping projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

General Responsibilities Include:

Cost Estimation:Review and interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates for landscaping projects, including site preparation, grading, utilities, infrastructure, irrigation, planting, site features, and lighting.Perform quantity take-offs and apply unit rates to estimate the cost of labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.Bid Preparation:

Develop and maintain a database of cost information, including historical data, vendor pricing, and industry benchmarks.Prepare bid proposals and detailed cost breakdowns for submission to clients, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.Risk Assessment:

Identify potential risks and uncertainties associated with projects and provide recommendations for mitigating these risks.Assess the impact of changes or revisions to project scope on cost estimates and communicate potential cost implications to stakeholders.Collaboration:

Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather information, clarify project requirements, and resolve any discrepancies.Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and project review sessions to gain a thorough understanding of project requirements and constraints.Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain detailed records of estimates, assumptions, and methodologies used in the estimation process.Prepare and present cost reports and summaries to management and clients, providing insights into cost trends and project financials.Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated on industry trends, construction methods, and cost management techniques to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of cost estimates.Participate in post-project reviews to analyze estimating performance and identify opportunities for improvement.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Proven experience as an Estimator in the landscaping or construction industryStrong understanding of construction materials, methods, and processesProficiency in estimating software and Google/Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detailStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teamsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyCertification from a recognized professional organization (e.g., AACE, ASPE) is a plusPhysical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) regularly.Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods.Ability to work in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow.
