**Department:** Sales, Dixon, IL**JOB DESCRIPTION**The **Regional Sales Managers** primary responsibilities include maximizing territory profitability by selling products and services designed and engineered for residential, commercial and industrial building applications to professional installing dealers.SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**Sales Planning, Analysis and Growth****:*** Manage specified region within the guidelines of the terms and conditions, policies and procedures, discounts, and claims provided by Raynor Management* Promote all Raynor product lines and services within the region* Identify strategic sales issues for specified region and implement objectives that address the issues. Monitor and update regional plan consistently* Develop a sales forecast for each dealer and new dealers within your assigned region on an annual basis. The sales forecast includes specific business objectives for each account* Manage discounts and selling prices to maximize region profitability* Develop a business plan for specified region that includes an expense budget and sales projection. Update as required* Manage regional advertising funds and submit paperwork for approval to the Director of US National Sales* Establish awareness of the competition within specified region through personal contact with prospective dealers, business directories, trade shows, web sites, advertising professional organizations, architects, builders and consumers**Dealer Relations:*** Retain current dealers and attract new dealers* Enhance dealer loyalty* Launch new products into the marketplace as they become available* Investigate and resolve product and shipping issues with dealers (back charges) as requested* Negotiate consumer product complaints as requested* Manage dealers within specified region with consideration for the Raynor philosophy reflected in the Raynor corporate mission statement* Work closely with dealer accounts in the areas of operations, marketing and finance to help strengthen their business. This includes developing business plans, identifying strategic issues, cash flow analysis and training sales staff* Assist dealers advertising efforts by utilizing creativity and established Raynor programs to develop effective advertising within the local marketplace* Assist dealers marketing/sales efforts by conducting product knowledge training and providing promotional sales support* Assist other departments (i.e. Financial Services, Quality Assurance, Logistics, Call Center) with the dealer relationship when the need arises* Develop and progress National Account Customers as needed per the Director of National Accounts**New Dealer Development****:*** Develop sales growth by seeking professional installing dealers for targeted, new markets or to strengthen underperforming, existing markets**Architectural Specification Support****:*** Support dealers marketing efforts through routine sales calls with architects, spec writers, contractors, homebuilders and consumers* Further architect relationships by providing AIA/CES, American Institute of Architects/Continuing Education Systems courses within region**Meetings, Conferences and Conventions****:*** Responsible for attending Raynor sales and marketing events as requested, which may include dealer conferences, customer contact events, industry shows and regional manager meetings**Communication, Planning and Administration****:*** Perform tasks and projects per the direction of Raynor Management as needed within the region* Submit weekly call reports and monthly itineraries to the Director of National Sales* Complete performance reviews, including a review of each dealer versus sales forecast and an objective review* Provide information regarding the region to Raynor Management. Regional Managers are an important information gathering resource, and as such should provide Raynor with pertinent details regarding the region as needed* Complete and keep Strategic Account Management Plan updated**JOB-RELATED AND ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS****Skills:*** Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization* Ability to use technology to communicate, report and research effectively* Excellent organization, planning skills and oral and written communication* Must be proficient and have had experience using Microsoft products including, CRM, Excel, Word and PowerPoint* The work environment is a home office environment**Experience:*** Bachelors in Business, Marketing or related field* 5-7 years of experience required**Work Environment*** The work environment is a home office environmentHOW TO APPLYIf you are interested in this Product Engineer career opportunity with , please apply by clicking on the link below.
