We are looking for a Network Engineer for located in Novi Michigan!

Job Title –Network Engineer

Location: Commute to Novi, MI

Pay Rate: $30-35/hour (Contract-to-Hire)

Start Date: ASAP

(must be a USC/Green Card Holder/NO C2C)

Role Overview:

As a Network Engineer at our Novi, MI headquarters, you will ensure the integrity and security of LAN and related systems while managing technical inquiries. Your role will involve designing, implementing, and optimizing our IT infrastructure, including network hardware and security policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.

Manage network security, firewalls, and intrusion detection.

Oversee end-user workstation, software, and peripheral maintenance.

Administer Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange Server, and SQL Server.

Troubleshoot network issues and optimize performance.

Implement data backup and disaster recovery protocols.

Maintain documentation for network configurations and asset management.

Collaborate on capacity planning and upgrades.

Provide technical support and training.

Requirements:

Education: Associate’s degree in IT (Bachelor’s preferred).

Experience: 3+ years in Network Engineering.

Skills:

Expertise in network hardware, protocols, and standards.

Proficiency in Windows OS, Active Directory, Microsoft 365.

Knowledge of VMware, NetApp, QNAP SANS, Cisco USC.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

Preferred:

Certifications: ITIL v3, Microsoft, Palo Alto, Cisco, VMware.

Technical Knowledge: Network and PC/Server OS, Cisco Telephone systems.
