Description
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) Aesthetic Injector is responsible for delivering high-quality cosmetic treatments to clients seeking to enhance their appearance. This role requires expertise in a variety of aesthetic procedures, including injectables, dermal fillers, and other non-invasive treatments. The NP will consult with clients to understand their aesthetic goals, develop treatment plans, and administer procedures with precision and care.

Potentail earnings:
$110K - $180K annually
Pay rate:
$55 - $60/ per hour plus commission, tips and bonus potential
Key Responsibilities:
Client Consultation: Conduct comprehensive consultations with clients to assess their needs, discuss aesthetic goals, and recommend appropriate treatments. Educate clients on available procedures, potential risks, expected outcomes, and aftercare instructions. Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's individual needs.
Aesthetic Treatments: Administer injectables, such as Botox, Dysport, and dermal fillers, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and achieving natural-looking results. Perform other aesthetic procedures, such as chemical peels, microneedling, and laser treatments, depending on the clinic's offerings. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest techniques, products, and trends in aesthetic medicine. Client Care and Safety: Ensure a sterile and safe treatment environment, following all clinical protocols and guidelines. Monitor clients during and after treatments to ensure their comfort and safety. Provide thorough post-treatment care instructions and follow-up with clients to monitor results and satisfaction.
Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate and detailed client records, including treatment plans, procedures performed, and outcomes. Adhere to all legal, ethical, and regulatory standards, including HIPAA compliance and state-specific medical guidelines. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain licensure and certifications.
Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the clinic's medical director and other team members to ensure coordinated and high-quality care. Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and marketing events to promote the clinic's services.
Education: Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice. Certification in Aesthetic Medicine is preferred but not required.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, with specific experience in aesthetic or cosmetic procedures preferred. Proficiency in administering injectable treatments, with a strong understanding of facial anatomy and aesthetics.
Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships. Detail-oriented with a high degree of precision in administering treatments. Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage client expectations effectively. Strong ethical standards and a commitment to patient safety and satisfaction.
Qualifications Valid Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state Must have 3-5 years of experience as an injector in the aesthetic field Must have experience with aesthetic injections (Botox) Must have experience doing Dermal Filler Must have experience with Thread Lifting Must have experience working in a Med Spa, Dermatology, or Plastic Surgery practice Ability to meet US employment and eligibility requirements
