Overview:
Responsible for assuring that Vehicle SW solutions are successfully integrated into the product, on time with high quality to the customer. Aligns with direction of organization as related to vehicle SW domain. Collaborates with Internal and External customers for successful delivery of programs. Responsibilities:
YOUR MISSION: Responsible for assuring that Vehicle SW solutions are successfully integrated into the product, on time with high quality to the customer. Aligns with direction of organization as related to vehicle SW domain. Collaborates with Internal and External customers for successful delivery of programs.
A DAY IN THE LIFE:
Supports vehicle SW activities across production/pursuit programs. Responsible for ensuring Vehicle SW solutions are developed and integrated across all production programs. Responsible for supporting integration of SW stack across different programs. Responsible for integration of various Vehicle protocols like CAN, LIN, Ethernet, EVAB, SomeIP, DOIP and Autosar stack. Responsible for secure coding practices & static analysis. Provides input for 3rd party CAN, LIN, Autosar, EAVB selection activities via choosing appropriate license models. Support vehicle SW team to support multiple projects and builds/develops re-usable vehicle SW components both in SOC, MCU and tools. Will be expected to lead smaller programs in integration of Vehicle SW stack. Leads vehicle SW architecture and design review meetings between PASA, suppliers, and PASAs customer and to track project status. Develops best practices, guidelines to integrate 3rd party, open-source solutions. Works with global software development teams/external consultants in the design and development of Vehicle software features including systems, applications and/or solutions. Builds a standardized set of Vehicle SW product requirements and conforms to & produces metrics to report performance against those requirements.
MUST-HAVES:
Four-year College Degree in at least one STEM major (Science; Technology; Engineering; Math) and a minimum of eight (8) years of experience including full life cycle embedded software development in electronics products. Minimum two (2) years leading a team of software engineers with a formal development process such as Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, or Extreme Programming. Minimum three (3) years of Vehicle SW development both VIP and SOC integrating Autosar stack and protocols like CAN, LIN, Ethernet stack, EVAB, SomeIP and diagnostics. Knowledge and experience in Ethernet, SomeIP and DOIP is a highly desired. Knowledge of Vector stack and tool chain is highly desirable.
