Assists in answering calls from end users, support companies and vendors.Documents and maintains records of end user issues, network issues, support and vendor communications, and hardware/software orders and shipping.Troubleshoots basic end user questions and problems. Provides basic user support as needed.Assists supervisor in the maintenance of network systems, servers and workstations; installation of software and hardware; and troubleshooting of server and network problems.Sets up and deletes user ID's and passwords in practice management systems and submits requests to the corporate office for user accounts in file server and e-mail systems.Qualifications:Associates degree in Information Systems, business or related technical field required.Minimum three (3) years experience in support of Windows based systems and other business applications, preferably in a healthcare environment.Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office required.Experience in support of enterprise resource planning systems, hardware platforms and peripherals, remote troubleshooting and mobile computing, and troubleshooting network connectivity.Additional Attributes:Strong desire to learnFlexibilityAbility to multi-taskStrong Organizational SkillsSelf-starterDependableDetail-orientedCompassionateCOMPETENCIES:-Ability to work independently, self-manage job queues and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.-Sensitivity to communications, accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism.-Demonstrates patience, tolerance and adaptability in all areas of support responsibilities.-Exceptional interpersonal skills, including strong oral and written communication skills.-Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
