The Technical Sales Manager will:

Work with the local management team to identify GROWTH opportunities, understand capabilities, materials and processes.Lead development activities and establish priorities to ensure world class performance in safety, quality, customer satisfaction, productivity, cost management and continuous improvement through application of Lean philosophy and disciplined problem solving and process improvement techniques (Kaizen, 6 Sigma, or similar).Work with the Tracy General Manager to develop and implement growth strategies, including understanding market dynamics, competitive positions, channel logistics, and recommend actions to counter competitive positions.Partner with Finance and Customer Service to understand pricing needs.Must be willing to travel to support the sales and technical role across North America.Ability to develop cost effective products to meet customer needs for Urethane and Rubber products

PRIMARY ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Customer Management including associated KPIs.Opportunity Pipelines and associated Business Review Meetings.Key Account ManagementEstablish Annual Orders Budget for Dynatect Tracy CA location.Travel within assigned region and attend industry trade shows.Identification of growth opportunities within assigned region.Provide direction for Development Activities for Urethane and Rubber products.Visit and interface with customers, as necessary, to work with them on any quality and/or development issues.Initiate and participate in Engineering and Manufacturing activities with the development of control plans, work instructions, etc.a. Responsible for developing cost effective products to meet customer needs for Urethane and Rubber products

Understand market dynamics and competitive positions in the industry. Specifically with Rubber and Polyurethane compression and injection molded parts.Work with the local team on part pricing. Execute NDAs and commercial agreements.Coordinate strategic customer meetings with internal stakeholdersSubmit timely, accurate, and robust monthly reports and order forecastsOther duties as assigned.SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Understand industry purchasing trendsEstablish and monitor metrics to quantify the product groups performance
