PART TIME HOURS

The Medical Office Receptionist will be responsible for greeting patients, activating patient files, and for providing support to patients and medical staff. Job duties include but are not limited to:

Medical Office ReceptionPromptly and professionally provide exceptional customer service via telephone, and in person greeting patients/visitors, and assist and direct them accordingly.Work as a team member and ability to work individually to serve in a setting that will deliver a high level of quality care.Feel comfortable answering phones and message training at high volumesCross train in variety of tasks to help maintain an efficient organizational work process for staffing needs and coverage.Explain financial requirements to patients; collect and record copays as required.Training will include obtaining insurance verification and benefits eligibility, precertification's for inhouse procedures and services as needed.Perform registration functions for new and existing patients.Schedule patient appointments per guidelines given, and finalize patient schedules for previous day.Maintain confidentiality regarding all patients.Adhere to infection control/safety guidelines and confidentiality policies through HIPAA compliance.Other duties as assigned.Qualified candidates can:
