This position requires an understanding of respiratory physiology; comprehensive knowledge of ventilators and other technical equipment; a working knowledge of lab CXR data; and strong interpersonal skills.

An Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Respiratory Care Degree from a Regionally Accredited, and CoARC certified RT program. Hospital experience including one year in an Intensive Care or Critical Care Unit. The experience may include clinical experience obtained while enrolled in a Respiratory Therapy program.

Requires licensures as a Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner by the State of WA and active CPR/BLS certification.

Working as a Respiratory Therapist - Registered in the Hyperbaric department requires successful passing of a medical examination to determine physical ability to perform the essential duties of the position without hazard to self or others. Such certification must be renewed no later than every two years.

Prefer a Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy (BSRT) or Bachelor of Applied Science in Respiratory Therapy (BASRT) form a Regionally Accredited, and COARC certified RT program.
