Overview:
The Scrum Master is a servant leader responsible for facilitating Scrum adoption and ensuring effective execution of Agile projects within the IT Project Management Office (PMO). This role will work closely with product owners, development teams, and stakeholders to foster a collaborative and productive environment that delivers high-quality software solutions Responsibilities: Facilitate Scrum Events: Conduct daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure efficient team collaboration and progress tracking. Coach and Mentor: Provide guidance and support to team members, helping them understand and apply Scrum principles and practices. Remove Impediments: Identify and resolve obstacles that hinder the team's progress, ensuring they can work effectively. Protect the Team: Shield the development team from external distractions and pressures, allowing them to focus on delivering value. Foster a Positive Team Culture: Promote a collaborative and supportive environment where team members feel empowered to contribute and learn from each other. Manage Stakeholder Expectations: Communicate project progress, challenges, and risks to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and buy-in. Continuously Improve: Facilitate process improvements and adaptations to ensure the team's effectiveness and efficiency. Perform other duties as assigned.

5+ years IT Project Management experience or related information technology field 2+ years experience in Project Management or leading Scrum teams
REQUIRED SPECIALIZED TRAINING OR SKILLS: Experience working in Agile/Scrum tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, or equivalent tool Good computer skills, including experience in tools like MS Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Miro, and others Strong ability to partner with cross-functional teams to deliver project goals Strong leadership, interpersonal, conflict management, and communication skills Ability to perform planning for multiple initiatives/projects, managing all tasks required to provide services to meet project needs within the timeline and the budget Ability to effectively manage project scope, and communicate with partners in IT, business, and vendors PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: PMP or CSM certification In-depth understanding of the software development life cycle Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) environments Understanding of the role of software development tools and processes such as version control, defect and issue trackers, build processes, and team collaboration tools Experience working with dispersed teams, and using online communication tools such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom, or similar Experience working with many development teams (varied personalities and communication styles) Experience managing deployment processes Experience working in an Agile environment and working within SAFe Agile release trains or similar type of framework
