Metal Arts Machine Co. is currently seeking an entry-level deburr operatorto join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for operating a variety of power and hand tools as well as deburring equipment to remove burrs, nicks, scratches, and rough and sharp edges.\ \
Job Responsibilities
Operate a variety of power/hand tools and standard deburr equipment to remove burrs, nicks, scratches, and rough and sharp edgesSelect files or abrasives according to materials, sizes and shapes of workpiecesVisually check parts for compliance to quality and workmanship standardsRequires close visual attention while work is in progress to prevent damage to parts or equipmentEnsure that standard procedures are followed in all aspects of work, including tool set-up and operation, process verification, product inspection, documentation and material handlingResponsible only for own workPerform other related duties as requiredPerform routine maintenance on equipment and hand tools, determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed
