With a commitment to excellence and a passion for innovation, Lynker leverages cutting-edge technologies and scientific expertise to support the creation and delivery of improved operational weather forecasts.As part of our ongoing growth and expansion, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Database Administrator to support the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) National Data Buoy Center (NDBC).Qualifications:5+ years experience or more with database management systems, database scheme design, database operational efficiency analysis, and maintenance of on-line scientific and business databases.
Strong experience supporting and managing MySQL, MariaDB, and Oracle Relational Databases in a Linux environment and experience hardening databases against potential IT security incidents.
Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server.
Ability to support 24x7x365 operations
BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
