EFI is looking for an

R&D Ink Technician

to join us at our Londonderry, NH location. This position will work as part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team that supports R&D for ink and industrial printing presses. The team is responsible for the design and evaluation of various test fixtures that support ink development for multiple sites. Join the exciting inkjet field as we lead the digital transformation of the print industry.

What you will do:

• Work in a hands-on environment including press floor, ink lab, printhead electronics lab

• Operate various test equipment

• Support the development of in-house equipment and tests methods

• Fully characterize and validate industrial inkjet inks

• Build new lab systems based on advanced printheads

• Work in a fast-paced R&D environment to support inkjet ink development.

• Strong aptitude for learning with attention to detail

• Excellent organizational, communication and problem-solving skills

• Comfortable being hands on in the lab working with inks

• Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment and work well under pressure

• Proven ability to work well within a group and individually

Versatile and quick learner (new products and technologies)• Machine operation experience

o Print press experience is a plus

• Possess a high school diploma,

o An Associate's Degree related to Electrical /Mechanical knowledge is a plus

• Have experience with assembling, wiring, and testing

Basic electrical and mechanical skillsFamiliar with soldering and basic electronics is a plus• Can read and understand wiring schematics

Enjoy learning

• Possess Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
