Procurement Agent (I)
to join the Procurement Team in Fenton, MO. This role is part of a team that is responsible for committing company resources through contracts and agreements for the procurement of goods and services to help the business meet its objectives. The expectation is that this will be a hybrid position depending on business needs.

DAY IN THE LIFE:
The
Procurement Agent (I)
reports directly to the Manager of Procurement and will be responsible for supporting global sourcing strategies, negotiating agreements, documenting purchase contracts and other agreements, monitoring and engaging with suppliers on performance and improvement opportunities.
As a
Procurement Agent (I),
you will select suppliers for RFQ and purchase orders, document procurement decisions, analyze supplier bids, extract pertinent data and present such data to peers and leaders within N/E in a concise, accurate and professional manner, create contract correspondence and administer contract changes between N/E and its suppliers, ensure compliance with all relevant N/E procedures ad contract requirements, and integrate activities with internal and external customers and suppliers to fulfill contract requirements and reconcile contract issues. This position requires 10% travel (international and domestic) and communicating effectively with people in multiple countries and cultures.
QUALIFICATIONS . We want the person selected for this role to be successful! The following qualifications are essential to be effective in this position:
At least two (2) years of experience working in a corporate setting.BS/BA in Business or a related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.Proven capabilities within Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, SharePoint and Excel.Excellent written and spoken communication, presentation, analytical and critical thinking skills, highly professional, organized, trustworthy team player, with proficiency in English.
Ability to read, write, problem-solve, make quick decisions, interpret data and analyze results; effective written and verbal communication is essential.
