In the rapidly evolving realm of cybersecurity, an Information Security Analyst stands as a guardian of digital fortresses, wielding a diverse arsenal of skills to protect sensitive data from nefarious cyber threats.

P17 Solutions has an open position located at the Mike Maroney Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City, OK. In the position, you will support the NAS Strategic Operations Team, the FAA Tech Ops team, responsible for modernizing sustainment and maintenance processes within the FAA. The FAA Tech Ops team will be working with the team in OKC to deploy a custom developed telemetry and RMMC device to radios and communications equipment at remote facilities.

THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION!! MUST reside or ability to commute to the Mike Maroney Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City, OK. Those who do not meet this requirement will automatically be disqualified.

Familiarity with the FAA

Support FAA (Tech Ops) in Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) remediation

Proficient in Network Architecture and Information Technology (IT) and Cybersecurity fundamentals: network structures, operating systems, cyber threats and attack vectors.

Proficient in implementing security measures such as firewalls, software, intrusion detection systems; deep understanding of how to conduct penetration testing and security audits

Ability to conduct or evaluate technical security evaluations of IT environments to pinpoint vulnerabilities, non-compliance with established Information Assurance (IA) standards, and propose effective mitigation strategies.

Technical proficiency with network security monitoring tools, encryption technologies, and security information and event management (SIEM) systems.

Proficient in Python for software development and automating tasks

Engage in security planning, assessments, risk analysis, and risk management, providing recommendations for system-level solutions to meet security needs.

Coordinate with team members to implement, enforce and support the formulation of security policies, standards, and best practices.

Oversee configuration management (CM) for security-related software and hardware, managing system changes and assessing their security implications.

Proficient knowledge of contemporary security tools, hardware/software security implementations, and communication protocols is necessary.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate as part of a larger team.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree required (Technical, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field)

Information Assurance (IA) Level II

CISSP

Information Technology Infrastructure Library v3 (ITIL v3)

Certified Ethical Hacker (CE|H) – EC Council

Certified Network Defense Architect (CDNA) – EC Council

Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology (COBIT 5) - ISACA
