Systems Analyst
to join our team. Sundance is a leading omni-channel specialty retailer with headquarters located in Salt Lake City, UT. Founded in 1969 by Robert Redford, Sundance is a unique brand that supports artistic endeavors and focuses on creativity, originality, and inspiration.
Summary
The
Systems Analyst
is responsible for providing technical assistance to end users, primarily thought the IT ticket system or the On Call phone system. This individual will interact with the end users to gain a full understanding of the issues to either resolve or escalate to the appropriate IT resource.
ResponsibilitiesReviews, analyzes and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support an organization's application systems.Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience, and judgment to perform the functions of the job.Responsible to document, track and monitor issues through successful resolution.Accept tickets, tracks status and routinely reports progress to management.Relies on instructions and internal guidelines to perform the functions of the job.Creates an internal ticket of issue resolution for any issues undocumented to date.Strives for excellence in service, quick turnaround on issues and fosters a good relationship and understanding of the users and the entire IT team.Must be willing to perform a variety of tasks as needed.Qualifications
Associate's degree in Information Technology, computer science or other tech-related fields1-3 years of experience in similar positionKnowledge of IT concepts and practicesExcellent customer service skillsTechnical understandingProblem solving skills
