JOB SUMMARY:

The Healthy Families America (HFA) Program Assistant plays a dual role in providing comprehensive support and resource coordination to families participating in the HFA program, as well as managing administrative duties, data management, referral coordination, and material/supply management.This position involves developing family support plans, linking families to community resources, promoting positive parent-child interactions, completing the validated Family Resilience and Opportunities for Growth (FROG) Scale with families, tracking referral progress, and managing data systems to ensure efficient program operations.JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, child development, human services, data management, or related fields. Equivalent experience may be considered.Minimum of 2 years in family support, home visiting, or early childhood services.Experience with the Healthy Families America model and at least 2 years in data management and policy enforcement preferred.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to build trust and establish rapport with families.Knowledge of community resources and navigation of service systems.Proficient in documentation, case management, and data analysis.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Cultural competence and sensitivity to diverse populations.Spanish-speaking ability is a plus.
