Bridgestone Americas and its subsidiaries develop, manufacture and market a wide range of Bridgestone, Firestone and associate brand products to address the needs of a broad range of customers and industries. **Job Description**Positions in this sub-family are responsible for purchasing the raw materials necessary for the organization's manufacturing operations. Activities include, but are not limited to order planning, placing orders, ensuring on time delivery, and maintaining targeted inventory levels. Position works closely with manufacturing operations as well as various Corporate functions. **Responsibilities*** Work with cross-functional teams to ensure uninterrupted raw material supply to the organizations operations.* Issue/maintain purchase orders in alignment with targeted inventory requirements.* Act as window between the business and supply base, focusing on cost/process improvements as well as supplier relationship management.* Analyze forecast and usage data to drive raw material fulfillment efficiencies.* Support all Procurement business continuity planning activity.* Other duties as assigned**Qualifications**Bachelors degree; or equivalent work experience1-2 years of work experiencePreferred QualificationsMicrosoft ExcelSAP experience**Employee Type**Regular : Full time
