Summary - Mechanical QC Inspector
Responsibilities:-Performs detailed first article inspections, in-process inspections, and final inspections of precision-machined parts.-Works with production and engineering teams to address and resolve quality issues.-Responsible for calibrating measuring tools and inspection equipment.-Responsible for documenting all quality control/ISO operating procedures in accordance with ISO requirements.-Provide drafting services as needed
Job Requirements
Requirements:Education: High school diploma or GED.Experience: Minimum 5 years' quality control experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of GD&T required. ISO 9001 experience required.
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:-Must have a strong aptitude in mechanical design and engineering.-Must have a strong working knowledge level of CAD systems.-Must be very detail oriented.-Strong math skills.-Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and blueprints.-Has a strong background with workplace safety, OSHA regulations and quality control techniques.-Must be able to effectively communicate with employees of varying education levels.-Have a strong understanding of ISO quality standards and requirements.-CMM Operations OR vision system inspection experience preferred-CMM programming or vision system inspection programming a Plus
