They have won numerous awards such as "top place to work" and "Colorado's healthiest employees" and are known for genuinely caring about their employees and their well-being.DescriptionKey Responsibilities of a Construction Senior Estimator include:Developing detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects. This involves analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other project documents to determine material, labor, and overhead costs.

Preparing and presenting competitive bids for projects. This includes calculating costs and preparing bid proposals that outline pricing, timelines, and scope of work.

Identifying and contacting potential vendors and subcontractors to obtain quotes and pricing information. Evaluating their bids and integrating their costs into the overall project estimate.

Assessing potential risks and uncertainties that could affect project costs and timelines. Developing contingency plans to address these risks.

Working with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that the project stays within budget. Monitoring and updating cost estimates as the project progresses and changes occur.

Reviewing and analyzing project costs against actual expenditures. Identifying discrepancies and providing recommendations for cost control and efficiency improvements.

Preparing detailed reports and presentations on cost estimates, budgets, and financial projections for stakeholders, including clients, project managers, and senior executives.

Assisting in negotiating contract terms and pricing with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.

Supervising and mentoring junior estimators and other team members. Providing guidance and support to ensure accurate and timely estimates.

Staying updated with industry trends, new materials, and construction methods to improve estimating processes and accuracy.
