Role Summary :As a Medical Device Manufacturing Assembler at ENOVIS Foot & Ankle you will be a hands-on individual who manufactures devices to meet Envois, customer and regulatory requirements. The individual assembles and packages medical device products to high quality standards and engineering drawings in accordance with all policy and procedural standards. The Assembler will manufacture devices in a cleanroom environment.Key Responsibilities:The following are the primary duties and responsibilities of this role. Other related duties may be assigned to meet the business need.Assemble plastic and metal components into medical devices in accordance with approved manufacturing proceduresin a cleanroom environmentFollow all relevant procedures for the production environmentUsing Work Order, gather all needed materials and document inventory usageMeticulously follows work instructions and completes Device History Records for completed devices and work in progress, assures that all appropriate procedures and work instructions are followed and may be involved in inventory control.Perform visual inspections and functional tests to ensure that devices meet quality standards and regulatory requirementsMaintain lot number traceability, as appropriate, throughout the manufacturing process.Perform in-process quality checks on subassemblies and finished productsMaintain accurate records of assembly processes, test results, and any deviations encountered during manufacturingPractice and promote safety, quality, and efficiency within the team.Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements.Participate in continuous improvement activities including, but not limited to, daily management, GEMBA walks, Kaizen events, etc.Maintain accurate records of clean room activities, including maintenance logs, incident reports, and procedural updatesMaintain controlled environment and assembly area in clean orderPerform equipment and cleanroom maintenance as requiredMinimum Basic QualificationsHS Diploma or equivalentPrior Cleanroom and / or medical device assembly / production experienceAbility to read drawings / blueprintsFamiliarity using basic hand tools, e.g., caliper, micrometer, height gage, etc.PreferredExecute tasks in a timely manner under general supervisionDemonstrated attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes and proceduresHigh aptitude to learnWork environment | Physical DemandsClimate controlled workspaceAbility to sit or stand for extended periods of timeFrequent to constantuseoftheir hands and fingers, to handle or feel,and to manipulatein a variety of different body positions or posturesFrequent to constant holding, grabbing, grasping, pinching, turning or otherwise working with hands and fingers ranging from dexterous to forceful in natureAbility to tug, pull, or lift up to 50 lbsPeriodic weekend or evening work"Creating better together".
