And that's how we create better together.Job Title :Quality Control InspectorReports To :Manager, Quality AssuranceLocation:VMC (Vista Manufacturing Center)Business Unit Description :Bracing and SupportsRole Summary :Under the supervision of the Manager, Quality Assurance the Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring materials are received and processed in compliance with Enovis Quality Manual and being built in compliance with customer quality requirements.Key Responsibilities : The following are the primary duties and responsibilities of this role. Other related duties may be assigned to meet the business need.Provide guidance, as necessary, to junior department members.Read and interpret engineering drawings.Perform Inspections and generate reports as necessary.Perform Non-Destructive Examinations and measurements.Read customer specifications and quality assurance manual.Help during Audits and assist operations as needed. *Assist in training new quality inspectors.Collect and organize data for Device History RecordsMaintain organized quality control files.Recommend improvements in quality procedures and equipment.Inspecting output samples using industry-appropriate methods, such as comparing to standards, measuring dimensions, and examining functionalityChecking that the assembly or production line adheres to standards and procedures and complies with legal requirements.Reviewing blueprints and specifications to compare to produced goods.Recording inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-works and wastes, and inputting data into a quality databaseTraining the production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence.Proposing improvements to the production processMinimum Basic Qualifications :To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.High School Diploma5+ years of relevant experience.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization.Desired Characteristics :Experience in training others preferred.Self-starter with the ability to work independently.Strong written and verbal communication skillsFosters a positive work environment and encourages collaboration among the team.Basic knowledge and ability to use measuring tools (e.g., magnifiers, screwdrivers, calipers, rulers, etc.) and test equipment.Proficient in the use of computers/office equipmentAbility to read blueprints/schematics.Work environment | Physical demands:Typical warehouse environment, including the ability to lift to 40 lbs. and utilize a pallet jack.Physical Demands: standing, sitting, climbing, crouching/kneeling, lifting, carting, etc."Creating better together".
