At Butterball, we aim to provide great-tasting foods that bring people together and inspire meaningful moments with the people who matter most.Over the course of 10-12 weeks, as a Human Resources Intern, you'll work in the Raeford Plant located in Raeford, North Carolina. The HR Intern role is meant to provide an encompassing experience through a variety of projects that support our business within the HR area. You will work with local plant sites and corporate support teams to learn not only the day-to-day operations related to HR, but to also get exposure to strategic project initiatives that shape the future of local sites and the overall HR function within the company.What you'll do:A turnover analysis with recommended actionsCreating and implementing audits of HR functions to ensure complianceDeveloping community outreach partnerships to support retention and staffing effortsResearching & making recommendations on company-wide benefits offerings, or similar level projects.Project management, building relationships with key stakeholders, data tracking & analysis, and learning to influence others.

Additional eligibility requirements:Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resource Management, Organizational Development, Business Administration or related field with an expected graduation date of December 2025 through June 2026All participants in this program are required to have a valid drivers' license and reliable transportation to and from work.Experience and or/exposure with Excel, Teams, PowerPointDemonstrated problem solving skills and creativity to help find unconventional solutions to problems.Ability to communicate effectively and influence the decisions of leadership.Willingness to work at a poultry processing facility which would include time spent in cold areas and potential for loud noise.
