About the internship:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn and contribute to various aspects of business operations, including creation of Microsoft Sway reports, process standardization (SOP creation), and supporting the development of 5S throughout the Service Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in business processes and a desire to develop skills in a real-world setting.

As part of the team, you will:

Analyze, specify, design, document, implement end-to-end processes and/or Standards in order to improve performanceConduct training of users of the process or standard.Follow-up the implementation to ensure "fit for purpose" and validate that business objectives were met.Lead Proof of Concepts for new processes or standards.What you know:

This role requires a student pursuing a degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or Supply Chain Management. Other relevant degrees will also be considered.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office software (including Word, Excel, Visio & PowerPoint).Ability to work up to 40 hours per week (flexible with class schedule)Strong team collaboration and interpersonal communication skills required, to include verbal and written skills.Candidate must be adept at taking direction, work well within cross-functional teams, be curious to learn, and be customer focused. Safe work practices, proper ethics, and attention to detail are required.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and within a team environment.

At Alfa Laval, we carefully consider a wide range of factors to determine your total compensation package. We rely on market indicators and consider your specific job, background, skills, and experience to get it right. The hourly rate for this role is typically $17 - $25.
