Media Analyst

ECCO Select is seeking an Analyst to lead analytics-based strategic insights and direction to aid in the development of communications initiatives for clients. Working closely with the Account Management, Creative, Strategy, and Media teams, this position provides both and internal and client facing consultative perspective on analytical tools, measurement, and testing.
What you'll do:
Function as the subject-matter expert for analytical tools and techniques.Supports senior analyst team members in partnering with account teams (agency and client) on campaign planning and campaign effectiveness as well as in the development of plans and strategies to improve effectiveness of programs.Research innovative and cutting-edge techniques and methodologiesPartner with senior analytics team in the delivery and integration of conclusions and/or recommendations and actionable insights, including completing complex analysis and creating compelling visualizations for dataSpecific job functions include partnering with analytics team members to:Define key metrics and set goalsRecommend and design appropriate analytical methodologies based on business questionsExtract data from various digital toolsComplete data transformation, extraction, loading; merge formatsAnalyze and interpretmedia and sales performanceMine retailer websites for traffic, engagement, and sales data to drive actionable business insightsSupport advanced modeling and ROI/sales attribution analysis of shopper and media campaignsVisualize data and measurement outputs through PowerPoint presentations and customized Tableau dashboards
Who you are:
Bachelor's degree in quantitative field preferred3-4 years of work experience performing analytics initiativesStrong analytical skills and experience designing analytical solutions to address business problems
What you'll need:
Experience working with media, sales (i.e. IRI/Nielsen/Retail Link), and shopper panel (IRI/Nielsen Panel, Numerator) data preferred
Experience working with e-commerce sales data and digital tools preferred
Proficient knowledge of advanced Excel and Tableau (nice to have)
Reporting background demonstrated by the ability to report from various tools conception to delivery (Excel/VBA, Tableau, Spotfire, etc.)
Critical thinking; drawing conclusions, find creative solutions, structured problem-solving approach
Proven ability to communicate complex, technical concepts to non-quantitative audience
Ability to build relationships across team, departments, vendors and clients
Exceptional oral and written communications skills
Ability to effectively manage timelines and deliverables of multiple projects simultaneously
