Colorado Retina has an exciting career opportunity for an experienced ophthalmic photographer.

Pay Range:$22.96 - $36.73 per hourJob Status:

Full timeJob duties/responsibilities

Performs diagnostic testing on patients including, but not limited to fluorescein angiography, ICG angiography, OCT, OCTA, fundus photography, FAF, montage imaging, external photos, and ultrasonography (Posterior and anterior B-scans), PDT, and visual field testing.Able to perform peripheral OCT's on specified areas of the retina.Able to operate different Fundus Cameras; Topcon, Zeiss, Optos, and Heidelberg.Understanding doctors' preferences and best cameras to use based on diagnosis.Knowledge of basic retinal disease process and understanding of how best to photograph each differently. Must be able to recognize the difference between healthy and concerning areas in order to identify where to photograph.Perform IV accessBasic IT skills to allow for trouble shooting problems with photography equipmentAble to train technicians to perform OCTMinimum Requirements

Must be punctual and professional and carry a professional attitudeWillingness to travel between locationsWillingness to learn and adapt.Working knowledge of the eye anatomy, disease, and ocular medicationsAbility to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment.A good working knowledge of Windows/PC computers and software.Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in photography or related science preferred, but not required.At least 1 year of experience in ophthalmic or medical photography.Basic knowledge of anatomy of eye.OCT-C or CRA preferred, but not required.Our benefits include
