Meijer offers an 11-week internship program that challenges interns to deliver innovative solutions to real projects that impact the business. Throughout the course of the internship experience, we deliver diverse personal and professional development opportunities that further develop skillsets that can be implemented both during and after the program. The internship program will allow for interaction with other interns and Meijer senior leaders.
The internship program includes:
Challenging and impactful projects
Final presentations delivered to senior executives

What you will be doing as a Supply Chain – MCQI/Engineering Intern
:
As a Meijer Supply Chain Intern, you will be immersed in a dynamic environment where you will contribute to projects focused on automation, technology integration, and strategic development within our supply chain. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work cross-functionally across different areas of the business, gaining a comprehensive understanding of how various departments collaborate to optimize our Supply Chain operations. Potential projects include evaluating and implementing automation technologies during the internship to improve supply chain efficiency, analyze and develop supply chain strategies, and identify opportunities within existing processes and procedures for continuous improvement. Interns will be given exposure to business units throughout the Company leading to a well-rounded experience at Meijer.
Interns may also get exposure to other activities of the function, including:

Qualifications
:
Progress toward a Bachelor's degree in (list preferred majors)
Supply Chain Management
Engineering
Business
Economics
Additional qualifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Analytics skills - familiar with data analytics processes and software such as Power BI, SQL.
Drive for results - has focus on the bottom line.
Customer focus - dedicated to meeting expectations of internal and external customers.
Relationship Skills - can create positive working relationships with customers, team members, leadership, and other internal and external constituencies.
Communication Skills - conveys the right information in writing and verbally.
Problem Solving - Probes all fruitful sources for answers and looks beyond the obvious to assemble and interpret data.
