Embrace the opportunity to be a part of something greater with Hog Technologies.The Bill of Materials Analyst is responsible for performing a variety of tasks involving the support of the engineering applications and process as it relates to creating part numbers, perform analysis of returns and improve BOM usage.Specific responsibilities include: Performs a variety of administrative support tasks to support engineering applications and processes Performs specific and limited portions of more complex assignments Enters Drawing Management and Bill of Material (BOM) maintenance information for production, pre-production, service and sample parts Loads Bill of Material (BOM) including parent and parent-components Maintains Bill of Material Note and Part Description Tables, Material Code Book; distributes new or updated information Create new part numbers, perform analysis of returns to improve BOM usage Assemble Books of job specific drawings and assembly plans for production Maintain proper notice to all effected parties of any changes made to BOM or existing orders Support Production and inventory by timely addressing a large volume of emails received throughout the day. RequirementsRequired Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, or Associates degree with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, or Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of experience in a role working as a Bill of Materials clerk or support role Experience with identifying and understanding information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences Experience using computers and computer systems in order to achieve the duties of the position Experience operating office equipment and a variety of software applications including but not limited to Microsoft Office, SalesForce, Mass100, Google Docs etc. Experience performing day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing the necessary paperwork Experience providing information to various departments by telephone, email, written, or in person.
