Job Summary
The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Glacier Grizzly Resort in Browning, Montana. The General Manager will manage the daily operations of the resort—including front office/reservations, maintenance, food and beverage, store operations, and propane sales. The General Manager will lead a service-oriented team to provide a world-class guest experience, cultivate a resort atmosphere, maintain policies and procedures, and achieve financial goals. The campground is seasonal, and the campground manager(s) will be asked to remain on-site through the off period. Key Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of the Glacier Grizzly Resort including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, food & beverage, store, and security. Ensure that guest satisfaction is always maintained by providing exceptional customer service. Manage staff and provide leadership, training, and support to ensure that they are motivated, engaged, and providing the highest level of customer service. Maintain financial goals by managing expenses and revenue, including monitoring and analyzing financial statements and reports. Ensure that the resort is operating in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations. Develop and maintain relationships with guests, suppliers, and vendors to ensure that the resort provides the highest level of service and quality. Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability, including marketing, promotions, and partnerships with local businesses and attractions. Implement and enforce resort policies and procedures to ensure a safe, secure, and enjoyable experience for all guests. Attend regular meetings and training sessions to stay current with industry trends and best practices. Participate in the completion of weekly and monthly reports for ownership. Participate in local events that increase the visibility of the park in the community and deepen community relationships. Required Qualifications
At least 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 3 years in a management position. Knowledge of RV resort or campground operations. Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff. Strong financial management skills, with experience in reading budgets and financial statements. Comfortable with technology and basic programs, such as the Microsoft Office suite. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, suppliers, and vendors. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities. Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business administration, or related field. Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to the hospitality industry. Experience with the Newbook property management system (PMS). Experience with a state or national park as a demand generator. Having managed a campground with cabins/yurts/lodging accommodations.
