We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our organization as the Global Head of DevOps Practice. As the leader of this practice, you will be responsible for driving the adoption of DevOps principles and practices across our global operations. You will play a critical role in shaping our technology strategy, enhancing operational efficiency, and enabling scalable and reliable delivery of our software solutions. What you need to know: Define and implement the global strategy for DevOps practices, aligning it with the overall organizational goals and objectives. Lead and manage a team of DevOps professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise. Drive the adoption of DevOps culture, principles, and practices across the organization, promoting collaboration, automation, and continuous improvement. Establish and maintain effective CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth integration and deployment processes for our software applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiency gains in software development and operations. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in DevOps, industry best practices, and provide thought leadership and guidance to the organization. Drive the implementation of monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure robust performance and reliability of our systems. Work closely with stakeholders to define and enforce DevOps standards, policies, and governance frameworks. Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful delivery of software projects, providing guidance on deployment, infrastructure, and operational aspects. What we’re looking for: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Extensive experience in leading and managing DevOps teams in a global organization. Strong expertise in implementing and managing cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure. Proven track record in driving the adoption of DevOps practices and culture, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks. In-depth knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation). Solid understanding of software development methodologies and experience working closely with software development teams. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement. Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the DevOps space. Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) are desirable. Experience in using DevOps tool chain – Github, Jenkins, Artifactory, Veracode, SonarQube. 12+ years of experience in application development. 10+ years of experience in leading DevOps teams. Join our organization as the Global Head of DevOps Practice and be instrumental in driving the transformation of our software delivery and operational processes to achieve greater efficiency, scalability, and reliability. The base salary range for this position in Jersey City, NJ is $180,000-$200,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
