Simpson Querrey Biomedical Research CenterJob Description:The Associate Director will play a pivotal role in leading and managing operations for grants focused on technical implementation and data integration methodologies in healthcare. In addition, they will manage strategic and operational partnerships with other research institutions, government agencies, and industry collaborators. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a passion for driving positive change in healthcare through innovative solutions.Essential Job Functions:Lead the strategic planning and execution of grant-funded initiatives focused on technical implementation and data integration methodologies in healthcare.Manage all aspects of program operations, including budgeting, resource allocation, and performance tracking, to ensure timely and successful project execution.Oversee and execute all aspects of funder reporting requirements and relationship management.Foster collaboration and synergy across departments and teams involved in implementation, including clinical research and technology innovation.Facilitate communication and coordination to ensure seamless execution of program activities and alignment with organizational priorities.Develop metrics, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to track program performance, outcomes, and impact.Analyze data and feedback to assess program effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and inform decision-making processes.Prepare regular reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.Lead the development of a technology readiness framework to assess the maturity and readiness of healthcare technologies for deployment and adoption.Facilitate workshops, forums, and working groups to gather input and feedback from industry partners and stakeholders.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Master’s degree in healthcare administration, business management, or related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, operations management, or related roles within healthcare.Proven track record of successfully managing complex, grant-funded projects and initiatives, with a focus on technical implementation and data integration methodologies.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels.Experience in developing and implementing technology frameworks or standards in healthcare settings.Knowledge of healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices related to data management, privacy, and security.Benefit Statement:For full-time and part-time employees who work 20 or more hours per week we offer a generous benefits package that includes:Medical, dental, and vision insuranceEmployer paid group term life and disabilityEmployer contribution toward Health Savings AccountFlexible Spending AccountsPaid Time Off (PTO), Paid Holidays, and Paid Parental Leave403(b) with a 5% employer matchVarious voluntary benefits:Supplemental Life, AD&D, and DisabilityCritical Illness, Accident, and Hospital Indemnity coverageTuition assistanceStudent loan servicing and supportAdoption benefitsBackup Childcare and EldercareEmployee Assistance Program, and other specialized behavioral health services and resources for employees and family membersDiscount on services at Lurie Children’s facilitiesDiscount purchasing programThere’s a Place for You with Us:At Lurie Children’s we embrace and celebrate diversity and equity in a serious way.
