We want to work with people that have a diverse background, agitators to the status quo that don’t fit into a single “box.”The ideal Sr. Account Executive candidate will understand the fast-paced media world and must be professional, enthusiastic, a solid team leader/player, and possess a drive for achieving results. They should have outgoing entrepreneurial energy, strong decision-making and analytical skills, effective written and verbal communication skills, the ability to think strategically and creatively, the ability to multi-task, a willingness to roll up their sleeves, and a passion for communications and marketing.The primary responsibilities for Sr. Account Executive include:Act as a senior, strategic counselor for clients.Manage work streams and both lead and collaborate with internal and external teams on program and campaign strategy and execution, including material development and oversight as well as project and account management.Lead and manage day-to-day operations across the public relations account teams, including strategic planning, media outreach, managing budgets, and forecasting revenue and expenses accurately.Oversee provision of account resources and agency staff bandwidth.Proactively embrace agency new business efforts, helping to select, draft pitch materials, and onboard clients that align with the culture and overall agency objectives.Collaborate with agency integrated teams and attend client meetings to provide counsel and seamless project management.Direct and supervise staff responsibilities and manage daily workflow of accounts while driving consistent media results.Motivate team members by promptly reviewing work and providing constructive feedback.Participate in external company promotion through articles, speeches, presentations, professional memberships, etc.Develop and implement account teams protocols and procedures to improve agency processes, as necessary.Have a broad business understanding, strong analytical abilities, and critical, creative thinking.Job Type:

Bachelor’s degree preferred in Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or Communications4+ years of relevant experience in communications and/or public relations. Agency experience preferred.Solid team leadership and team-building experience, including management of local and remote team members.A strong rolodex of media relationships spanning verticals (e.g. business, trade, consumer and lifestyle).Proficiency in writing and editing materials including client media materials, Op-Ed/byline articles, client correspondence, and reports.Exceptional written communications skills, with the ability to adapt style to suit different communications media and audiences.Demonstrable experience of communicating complex and nuanced issues to the media.Creative, energetic personality and excellent interpersonal skills.Willingness to work a flexible schedule, outside normal office hours as required.Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team, while prioritizing and assisting on multiple projects.Track record of leading efforts for and winning new business.Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Cision, and Muck Rack required.Ability to commute/relocate:
